I am a professor of cultural studies who researches, teaches and writes about the contact between the economy, the environment, and public life. My projects dispel capitalist logic as it shows up in ordinary experiences. My writing has circulated across the Los Angeles Times, The Independent, The Wisconsin State Journal, The Conversation, Resilience and elsewhere. My work has been translated into multiple languages for international magazines.
I am currently a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Wisconsin–River Falls.
